This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our Site, submit a job application, request our services, or otherwise interact with us.

2.2 Driver Job Application Form

- Employer references, including up to five previous employers, positions held, supervisor names, supervisor phone numbers, employment start/end dates, and reasons for leaving
- A copy or image of your driver’s license (front and back)
- Driving abstract / driver’s history record
- CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration) information, where applicable
- Traffic conviction history (citations and forfeitures) for the past five years
- Collision history (commercial and personal) for the past five years, including dates and types of incidents
- Criminal record search results
- Availability (days and times you can work)
- Any additional supporting documents you choose to upload (e.g., letters of experience, insurance letters)
This is sensitive personal information. We collect it only because it is necessary to assess your suitability for placement with our trucking-company clients, many of whom require this information as a condition of hiring drivers.
2.3 Employer Inquiries
If you are an employer contacting us about driver staffing needs, we collect the contact and company information you provide to us (e.g., company name, contact name, phone number, email, and staffing requirements).
2.4 Automatically Collected Information
Like most websites, our Site uses cookies and similar technologies necessary for basic functionality and security, including:
- Session and functionality cookies required for our contact and application forms to work correctly
- Security-related data processed by our website firewall/security service, which may log IP addresses and request data to detect and block malicious activity

We do not use applicant background-check information (criminal record, driving abstract, collision/conviction history) for any purpose other than assessing suitability for the specific driving positions you apply for or are considered for.
4. Google reCAPTCHA
Our Site uses Google reCAPTCHA to help protect our forms from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends this data to Google for analysis. Your use of our Site’s forms constitutes acceptance of Google’s use of this data in accordance with:

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following circumstances:
- With prospective employer clients: If you submit a driver application, we share relevant portions of your application — including reference, licensing, driving history, and background check information — with trucking companies and other employer clients considering you for a position. This is the core purpose of our staffing service.
- With service providers: We may share information with third parties who help us operate our Site, process applications, host our data, or provide background-check/reference-verification services, under obligations to protect your information.
- For legal reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Torcan Staffing, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers: If Torcan Staffing is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
