We’re committed to making the hiring process as straightforward and simple as possible.
When you choose to work at Torcan Staffing, you’ll go through the following 3 steps:

Application: Submit your application by stopping by Torcan Staffing’s office. A member of the recruiting team will review your information. If you meet our hiring criteria we will proceed to the interview immediately.
Interview: A recruiter will conduct a one-on-one interview to assess your experience, career goals and work preferences. During the interview, we will review your work history and identify opportunities for you.
Paperwork: You will be asked to provide your driver’s license, CVOR, Drivers Abstract as well as a Criminal Background Check so that we can make copies of the documents.
References Check: Your previous employers will be contacted to verify dates of employment, reasons for dismissal, attendance record and work performance.
Orientation: If you are hired, you will receive an e-manual containing Torcan Staffing employee information package which includes policies & procedures, Health & Safety information and Workplace Harassment policy.
Dispatch: You will be provided with a schedule as well as the address, phone number, contact name and all other information pertaining to the account that you will be working at.

What is your criminal background policy?
It’s on a case by case basis depending on the client’s requirements.
What if I’m not interested in a certain position?
If you are not interested in a position offered, you are free to decline.
What do I pay for your services?
You do not pay for the recruiting services. It is free of charge for you.
How can I stay informed about open positions?
You will be called once a position matches your skill set and experience becomes available.
What do I need to bring to the Interview?
Bring a list of your past work experience / references, your driver’s license, a recent CVOR, drivers abstract and criminal record check.

How long will the interview process take?
The application and interview process takes approximately 30 minutes.
What if there is an issue when I start?
You need to call us at 416-877-3445 right away.
How often will I be paid?
You will get paid weekly via direct deposit, every Friday for the previous week.
